DISA grants Provisional Authorization to Cisco Cloud for Impact Level 5 data
The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) granted a 12-month Department of Defense (DOD) Provisional Authorization July 20 for Hosted Collaboration Solution for Defense (HCS-D) by Cisco. The HCS-D offers Software as a Service (SaaS) and supports Impact Level 5 (IL5) data.
The HCS-D system provides capability and management functions for voice, video conferencing, voicemail, call management, instant messaging, and presence services through a suite of cloud-hosted applications.
This represents a first for Cisco in making their SaaS available to DOD communities with IL5 data.
