Mission Statement 

GNSC NetDefense will:

• Provide CND services and support for global net-centric operations
• Monitor and help joint customers defend their networks in support of Global Operations
• Monitor and defend the CONUS and inter-theater portions of the GIG in support of JTF-GNO
• Provide CND on the CONUS TIG at the direction of TNC-NORTHCOM
• Provide CND for TNC-SOUTHCOM AOR

Major Responsibilities

• Monitor CONUS TIG and GIG transport for anomalous activity
• Provide tailored CND services for all CONUS Combatant Commands
• Perform 24x7x365 CND monitoring, incident handling, and reporting--conduit to the JTF-GNO for all customers
• Provide leadership CND SA on TIG/GIG events
