Skinner discusses DISA’s role in protecting the nation in cyberspace

Air Force Lt. Gen. Robert J. Skinner, Defense Information Systems Agency director and Joint Force Headquarters - Department of Defense Information Network commander, discussed the roles the agency and command play in national cybersecurity during an AFCEA Central Maryland Chapter luncheon at the Live! Casino & Hotel in Arundel Mills, Dec. 1.

Skinner answered questions on how DISA and JFHQ-DODIN are operating in cyberspace and how technology is leveraged within the department to strengthen national cybersecurity.

Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Daniel Krause, DISA senior enlisted advisor, also spoke at the event and informed attendees about his roles and responsibilities as the new senior enlisted advisor and provided insight on his career highlights and how they prepared him to lead a diverse organization comprised of civilians, contractors and service members through complex and critical missions.
