MISSION
Execute the DOD Information Technology (IT) Standardization Executive Agent management responsibilities that promulgate, configuration manage, govern, and assess implementation of warfighter information exchange standards.
FUNCTIONS
- Develop, configuration manage, and provide oversight for DoD IT standards associated with Tactical Data Links (TDL), United States Message Text Format (USMTF), and Symbology.
- Manage the Interoperability Enhancement Process (IEP) and Joint Tactical Data Enterprise Services Migration Plan (JTMP) to enable information superiority, net-centric warfare capability, and life cycle interoperability of command and control tactical data links.
- Support and maintain the Tactical Data Enterprise Services (TDES) database.
- Act as US Representative during applicable combatant command C2 Interoperability or Interoperability Management Boards (CCIB/IMB) to advocate TDL standardization with coalition countries.
