Permanent Change of Station (PCS)
- How should I calculate the distance between my current residence and future residence to see if I qualify for PCS entitlements (by being at least 10 miles closer to Ft. Meade)?
- Do I need to live within 10 miles of Ft. Meade?
- I already live in Maryland, but would like to use PCS to buy a new home. Can I?
- Will I need to know my destination/new residence address when I request PCS orders?
- Is there a cutoff date to request PCS orders?
- How long will it take to receive my PCS orders once I request them?
- Is there a way to check on the status of the PCS Orders I have requested?
- Will PCS benefits cover moving household goods from more than one location (such as from my residence and from a storage facility)?
