The new "Ports, Protocols, and Services Management (PPSM) Overview" computer-based training session covers PPSM's mission within the DoD and DISA, and it also provides an overview of its functions, its authority and its applicability. It is the 10,000 foot view of PPSM's processes and value to the DoD community.
PPSM's authority comes from DoDI 8551.01 which applies to DoD Information Technology, internet protocols, data services, and associated ports, and network connections with mission partners.
