The Joint Enterprise Directory Services (JEDS) is an enterprise-wide directory service that provides DoD People Discovery (i.e. white pages). The JEDS harvest and correlates data from multiple DoD data sources that contain pertinent information about DoD people and makes it available to DoD users through a central PKI enabled site.
The JEDS currently provides a DoD-wide search capability for information (names, contact information, and other job related attributes) regarding DoD personnel on both the Unclassified but Sensitive Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet) and the Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet).
The JEDS is a public key enabled application, allowing anyone with a valid DoD PKI or ECA certificate and internet connectivity to access the service at https://jeds.gds.disa.mil.

Contact Information (Name, email address, certificate, phone number, postal address) on all DoD CAC card holders.

JEDS is a central repository of contact and certificate information for members of the DoD-community, including DoD employees and on-site contractors with DoD PKI and ECA certificates.
With JEDS, you can:
- Search by Last Name, First Name, Email Address, or rank.
- View Contact Details and the certificate of other DoD personnel.
- Download and save certificates to Outlook contacts.
