GCSS-J Approved to Field 7.3.2
What’s new: Navy authoritative data source provides information on container/cargo for Navy ships; Military Sealift Command ships; tankers for fuels; munitions data; Time Phased Forced Deployment Data viewer; and improved Google Earth map layer to display WatchBoards. GCSS-J has SIPR and NIPR environments. Highlights are listed below:
SIPRNet provides
- The capability to create reports for Into-Plane Contracts, PC&S Fuels Contracts, DoD Real Property, TPFDD, and Bulk Fuels
- The capability to view a 30-day trend chart, upload objectives for Afloat Supply Points and import Inventory Management Plan for Fuels Watchboards; and create commodity groups that include All-Up Rounds information in Munitions Watchboards
- The capability to view bridges and tunnels, medical, railroad, petroleum, storage, and water facilities; view Combatant Command (COCOM) created airfields and seaports; display Navy, Military Sealift Command, Coast Guard, United States flagged cargo and container ships in Google Earth and Flex mapping
NIPRNet provides
- The capability to create reports using DoD Real Property, Into-Plane Fuels, and PC&S Fuels queries
- The capability to administer, configure and display Afloat Groups and Supply Points, view a 30-day trend chart and import an IMP spreadsheet in Fuels Watchboards; and consume Air Force web services for munitions Complete round Priority Build data and Navy's All-Up round Data in Munitions Watchboards
- The capability to view COCOM-based munitions and bulk fuel data in Google Earth and Flex maps
