DISA Headquarters Continuity of Operations Exercise Scheduled for Thursday and Friday

Fort George G. Meade, Md. -- The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) will conduct a comprehensive Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) exercise at the DISA headquarters complex here Thursday, April 20 and Friday, April 21.

The purpose of the exercise is to ensure the agency is prepared to continue the mission when normal operations are disrupted.

During the exercise, a series of exercise inputs will cause senior leaders to evaluate and respond to a threat. DISA will enact measures to keep the workforce safe and informed, while also ensuring individuals know and implement the appropriate response and relocation procedures.
