Join Army COL Elizabeth Bierden, DISA Europe commander and Army COL David Barlow, DISA Africa commander, for the second annual joint DISA Europe/Africa Customer Conference at the Edelweiss Lodge & Resort, Sheridan Kaserne, Armed Forces Recreation Center (AFRC), Garmisch, Germany, from June 20-24, 2011. This year’s theme is “Consolidate at the Enterprise: Optimize the Joint Environment.”

- June 21: Awards Ceremony Dinner, 7 p.m.
- June 21-24: Conference Tracks, European Communications Facility of the Year Awards Ceremony, Side-Bar Sessions, a DISA Direct Order Entry (DDOE) Course,and Cyber and Joint Enterprise Network/Joint Information Environment (JEN/JIE) Panels.
The conference program consists of multiple tracks spanning four days and provides a forum for DISA customers, Department of Defense (DoD) and other federal employees, as well as industry partners. Tracks will focus on DISA’s three Lines of Operations (LOOs): (1) Enterprise Infrastructure, (2) Operate and Assure, and (3) Command and Control (C2) and Information Sharing.
The joint environment is composed of people, processes, equipment, infrastructure, and C2/Situational Awareness through Network Operations. The conference offers attendees a forum to learn from and speak with representatives from DISA regarding how the above-mentioned LOOs will help deliver consolidation at the enterprise and optimize that joint environment.
The agenda will be posted when finalized. All briefs will be unclassified.
DRESS CODE
Attire for all military personnel participating in the DISA Europe/DISA Africa conference is service utility uniform. Civilian attire is business casual.
