PEO OPERATIONS (SS_C)

MISSION

Oversee, plan, acquire, and deliver world-class operational support to ensure the successful implementation and execution of the Program Executive Office for Satellite Communications, Teleport, and Services (PEO-STS) mission. Plan, manage, and oversee the implementation of the Balanced Score Card (BSC), Lean Six Sigma (LSS), and Security Program across the PEO-STS.

FUNCTIONS

  • Manage and execute the activities to support program executive office (PEO) internal business operations.
  • Perform suspense and correspondence management.
  • Perform supply management (e.g., office supply tracking and ordering).
  • Perform records management for official PEO documentation (e.g., personnel records, awards processing).
  • Perform security management (e.g., clearances, DD-254, badges, Common Access Card).
  • Manage, oversee, and execute the implementation of the LSS program.
  • Manage, oversee, and execute the implementation of the BSC.
  • Perform safety management (e.g. developing the Occupant Emergency Plan).
  • Manage and assist with the transition to and implementation of Defense Knowledge Online.
  • Ensure accountability of physical property and maintain inventory records.
  • Manage space and facilities requirements for the PEO.
  • Provide leadership, management, and oversight of resource management activities, information resource management, and civilian and military personnel management.
