MISSION
Provide training, education, professional development, visual information services, and multi-media support for the DISA workforce.
SENIOR CHAMPIONS' COUNCIL
The Senior Champions' Council serves as the overall approval authority for workforce development and human capital strategic planning for DISA. The members of the Senior Champions' Council consist of a Senior Service Executive representative for each of DISA's major civilian career fields to include acquisition, logistics, procurement, information technology, engineering, telecommunications, finance, the select specialties series and two senior military representatives who serve as the Senior Champions' for DISA's military personnel. FORCE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
The Force Development Program is a competency-based, systematic approach to managing the professional development needs of military personnel assigned to DISA and the JTF-GNO. The mission of the FDP is to create an enduring training continuum by developing, approving, and updating professional development and leadership development; providing mentoring opportunities; and improving communication skills.
