MISSION
Program management and implementation of DoD Information Assurance and NetOps capabilities--provides responsive, secure, and interoperable net-centric solutions necessary to secure and operate the Global Information Grid in support of the Secretary of Defense, combatant commanders, Joint/combined task forces, Services, and Agencies.
VISION

Provide Technical Leadership, and Engineering Support for the Development and Implementation of Responsive, Secure, and Interoperable Net-Centric Information Assurance and NETOPS Capabilities within DISA and across the Global Information Grid.

Advise DISA Director and senior leadership on IA Issues.

Oversee IA posture of DISA programs including C&A and compliance with IA architecture framework.

Support GIG IA Portfolio (GIAP) Efforts through participation in GIAP Domain Owners 5. Group, serving as Deputy GIAP IA Portfolio Manager, identifying and addressing IA capability gaps across DoD.

Develop IA Strategic Plans for Technical Areas (e.g., Detect, Diagnose, and Respond).

Support the Development of the IA Architecture Framework.

Lead CND Integration across DISA and DoD and ensure IA synchronization with STRATCOM, JFCOM, OSD, NSA, CND Architecture, and Industry.

Review impact to DISA of emerging IA and IA-related policies and develop draft IA policy for OSD. Coordinate with JTF on Communication Tasking Orders (CTOs), Warning Orders, and similar efforts.
